Shakti-Software's LanRaptor takes a new approach to the problem of displaying massive amounts of information about network activity in a meaningful way. It allows the user to select packets of interest to save, summarize or display in detail based on protocol types and addresses. Zero in on a particular flow of data or a particular address with ease. LanRaptor comes with a utility, ProtocolMaker which allows the user to define new Packet types as needed. LanRaptor can be used to analyze the most common or obscure network protocols, or to help define new ones.
